The Opportunity

On behalf of our client, a luxury superyacht based in the Mediterranean, Alice and the Rabbit is seeking a highly professional, energetic, and detail-oriented 2nd Steward / Stewardess.

This role is ideal for a candidate with proven yachting experience who is ready to step up, take ownership of interior operations, and maintain ultra-high service standards for both private owners and high-end charter guests. You will work closely with the Chief Steward/ess to ensure the interior runs seamlessly, with exceptional attention to detail in housekeeping, service, and guest hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping & Laundry:

  • Maintain all guest cabins, salon areas, and interior spaces to pristine, white-glove standards.

  • Execute detailed daily cleaning, turndown service, and deep-cleaning schedules.

  • Oversee delicate laundry care, high-end garment pressing, and stain treatment for guests and crew.

  • Manage interior inventories, linen stock, and provisioning requirements.

Guest Service & Hospitality:

  • Deliver high-end food and beverage service, including Silver Service, plated dining, cocktail creation, and barista service.

  • Assist with table setting theme designs, floral arrangements, and event decoration.

  • Provide warm, attentive, and discreet service to guests, anticipating needs and executing personal requests efficiently.

Operations & Safety:

  • Assist the Chief Steward/ess with interior administration, guest preference sheets, and safety briefings.

  • Participate actively in yacht safety drills, line handling during mooring, and watchkeeping duties as required by the Captain.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

Mandatory Certificates:

  • STCW95 / STCW 2010 (Fully updated Basic Safety Training).

  • ENG1 (or equivalent valid Seafarer Medical Certificate).

  • Security Awareness Training (STCW A-VI/6-1) or Designated Security Duties.

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum of 1–2 full seasons of proven experience as a Steward/ess on board a 30m+ private or charter superyacht.

  • Solid knowledge of fine dining service, wine pairing basics, and housekeeping techniques.

  • Exceptional eye for detail, organizational skills, and ability to work calmly under pressure.

Attributes & Personal Specifications:

  • High standards of personal presentation, hygiene, and etiquette.

  • Absolute discretion, positive attitude, and a strong team spirit in living in close quarters.

  • Languages: Professional fluency in English is mandatory. Conversational Spanish, French, or Scandinavian languages are a plus.

  • Requirements: Valid passport (minimum 6 months validity) and appropriate visas for Schengen/EU waters. Fully non-smoker with no visible tattoos preferred.

The Opportunity

On behalf of an UHNW family based in Marbella, Alice and the Rabbit is seeking an experienced, highly energetic, and reliable Live-In Professional Nanny. This is a long-term position for a proactive and nurturing candidate to support a dynamic family with five children (ages 14 [twins], 7, 5, and a 10-month-old baby).

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience caring for multiple children of varying age groups simultaneously. You must possess exceptional organizational skills, strong communication, and a deep sense of responsibility to ensure the day runs smoothly for the entire household.

Key Responsibilities

  • Morning Routine & School Runs: Prepare breakfast for the children, ensure they are ready for the day, and drive them to school.

  • Infant Care & Light Housekeeping: Care for the 10-month-old baby during the day while managing light household duties related to the children (maintaining tidy nursery areas, children's laundry, and meal prep).

  • Afternoon Support & Activities: In the afternoons (supported by the grandmother who helps with the younger children), focus on assisting the older children with homework/school projects, as well as driving them to sports activities, playdates, and appointments.

  • Travel & Flexibility: Accommodate frequent family travel globally. A valid passport and high flexibility are essential requirements.

  • Working Hours: Standard working day ends at 7:00 PM, except when special circumstances or family travel require additional flexibility.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven long-term experience as a Nanny for private families, specifically with multi-child households and infants.

This role requires a highly organized professional capable of executing traditional butler service at the highest caliber while seamlessly managing the family’s lifestyle and estate operations.

The ideal candidate will embody understated sophistication, impeccable manners, and unwavering discretion, ensuring that the residence is maintained to immaculate standards and that the principals receive flawless daily support.

Key Responsibilities

Property & Household Management:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the primary residence.

  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure immaculate household standards are met.

  • Oversee internal household staff (Housekeepers, Chefs, Drivers), establishing schedules and managing service delivery.

  • Vet and manage external contractors and specialized service providers.
